Pledge to support marriage equality in New York by:

Raising awareness of the issue among my friends and family
Attending events on campus, sit-ins, and other rallies
Volunteering in support of pro-equality candidates

Upcoming Events

Milk, Cookies, and Marriage Equality: This Wednesday between 10:30 and midnight in the Satow Room in Lerner, AC will be having a marriage equality phonebank party! We’ll be calling Senator Addabbo’s alleged 24-hour hotline to tell his staff or his answering machine that we are angry about his “no” vote on marriage equality and we are paying attention. Snacks will be served.

March for Equality in “St. Pat’s for All” Parade: We have a spot in next Sunday’s “St. Pat’s for All” parade in Queens! Celebrating equality, inclusion, and a fabulous Irish holiday, this parade was founded by LGBTQ activists in 2000 and has become a “don’t miss” in NYC’s LGBTQ community. Next Sunday (March 7), meet at 11:30 am at the 116th gates to travel to Queens together, and expect to be back by 4:30.
