The CU Dems are proud to announce the result of our Cover It campaign last semester: CU HealthServices has opened a new emergency health fund–and you should know about it! It provides financial support for students seeking time-sensitive health care, who either cannot afford it, do not have insurance coverage for it, or cannot use their insurance to cover it for confidentiality reasons. Funding is completely confidential, speedy, and is available to all undergraduate, graduate, and part-time students. Examples of health care that could qualify include abortion care, STI treatment, or kidney dialysis.
